Remember the...who cares...

Ya. That's right. It's a texas flag. Why does this state have so much pride. Most texans see this just as a normal part of life. They fly their flag not the american flag. There are stars everywhere. Even people are obsessed with the shape of the state. Being someone from another state at times i'm taken a back at all this texaness. America his enough pride already in itself. Do we really need anymore in just a single state. I can guarantee that there are no other states in america as proud as this one. Maybe i'm just saying this because i wish pennsylvania got It's rightful respect among top states. Anyway i love my state, my home, my pennsylvania.

Since I graduated high school almost three years ago I decided to take a quick trip down memory lane. Yes that's right, I checked pretty much most of my old classmates myspaces' to see how most are coming along. It's quite interesting to see people engaged and having kids; it's fun growing up. Yesterday Ashley sold her car, for a fair value. And I also got her ring cleaned and all fixed up. It looks really good. I have to teach at my church tomorrow with her. Get ready to learn about humbleness.

my now mobile blog...

So I'm testing out my mobile blogger. These are a couple of my very good friends. Blake, and Derek. Here you can see I caught them in a candid moment off guard and they were traumatized by my photography. Hopefully now that I'm able to do more mobile posts I can add lots of fun pictures on here.

Happy Easter...

Today was Easter. I didn't really get a chance to celebrate it as I wish I could have. My mom sent me some Easter money, which was very kind of her. I haven't talked to my parents in quite some time. It's really quite amazing, growing up and all. Think of our parents. It's probably so bittersweet to watch this little person grow before your eyes than become a full fledged adult and join society. My mom sent me a card and it said "Son I could get all sentimental about your childhood, and about how well you turned out...but what really puts a lump in my throat is how fast it all went, and how my love for you grew with every inch you added. You're still growing in new ways and so is my love." It really touched me. My relationship with my mom hasn't been the best but I do love her a lot and I thank her so much for brining me into this world. Happy Easter/Early Mothers day everyone.

St. Patricks Day...

It's sad. I honestly can't say that I know much about the man himself. Yesterday me and some friends decided to be festive and go out for some Saint Patty's fun. To bad our friend Patty couldn't come though, he was delayed due to an imposing thunderstorm. We had some super fun, and stored some memories that won't be soon forgotten. I love the guys on my floor.

2 Sides....

So at work today I was helping this customer find something he needed and out of the blue he asked me if I was a Southlake boy, which is a very affluent suburb of north Dallas. I quickly responded no, but he continued on to tell me that I look and dress like they do. Now I guess i can take it as a compliment but I'm just wondering, why is America so obsessed with labeling and stereotyping people. Black, white, Democrat, Republican, rich, poor, everyones always interested in what category do you fit in. Why can't we just see through the lines of race, and wealth. I'm not going to mention the man's race, but it is still quite interesting to see what other people think of you. School is back in tomorrow. I guess it's kinda nice, I really enjoyed being able to stay up a little later and sleeping in late.

Spring Break...

So i'm on a spring break. It's not technically spring for another week or so. No I'm not going to Florida or some exotic adventurous place. I'm just gonna hang low for a few days and relax. It's nice not having to be somewhere at an exact time, just hanging around. I really do wish I had more time and money to have some really fun adventures but I will soon. This is just a quick update, not much else to say, but "all you need is love".

one and two and...

So tonight church on the hill had a "couples" night. Well since me and Ashley are a soon to be married couple, we were invited to go out with most of the young married folks to get some Mexican food at Campuzano's in Cedar Hill, then off to do some salsa dancing at a local dance school. Pictures maybe to follow soon on that. But it was surprisingly really fun, and me and Ash really enjoyed it, even though we were yet again the youngest couple to participate. Dancing is strange. It feels all awkward at first and you think everyone's watching you but when everyone else kind of stinks at it too it makes it hecka easier and a lot more fun to learn. By the end of the evening me and Ash had a good rhythm going and were even doing some spins. Hats off to some really good instructors, Borris and Erica.

Floor Wars

So midterms are halfway through, thank you Jesus. CFNI has allowed our dormitory to participate in Floor Wars again. It's were a couple of floors in our 10 floor tower declare war and battle it out for bragging rights. It hasn't been done in over a year cause parents got concerned about seeing youtube videos of it. But the way it works out is about over a hundred guys gather on our floor throughout the building to wrestle and spar each other. Our floor was practicing a bunch of moves last night and I accidentally perforated my right ear drum. It's happened before. But now I'll probably end up just being a spectator for the event in the end.

So on and so forth...

I really don't like midterms. So much studying to do tomorrow. So me and Ash really need to get on with taking pictures and stuff for invitations. Maybe during spring break. I'm really excited to get married. It's a lot of work though.
